RBI Grade B Vacancy 2025
The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has released a total of 120 vacancies for the RBI Grade B 2025 recruitment. Out of these, 83 vacancies are for the General (DR) category, 17 vacancies are for the DEPR (Department of Economic and Policy Research) post, and 20 vacancies are for the DSIM (Department of Statistics and Information Management) post.

RBI Grade B Eligibility 2025: Age Limit, Educational Qualifications & Nationality
RBI Grade B Age Limit 2025
- The age limit for RBI Grade B 2025 will be calculated as of 1st September 2025.
- Candidates from the General (Unreserved) category must be:
- Minimum age: 21 years
- Maximum age: 30 years
- Candidates belonging to reserved categories (such as SC, ST, OBC, or PwBD) are eligible for upper age relaxation as per government norms.
RBI Grade B Educational Requirements 2025
To apply for the RBI Grade B 2025 exam, you must meet the following educational qualifications:
- You should have a postgraduate degree in any discipline with at least 55% marks overall.
- For candidates belonging to SC, ST, or PwBD categories, just passing marks are enough.
OR
- You should have a bachelor’s (graduate) degree in any discipline with at least 60% marks.
- For SC, ST, or PwBD candidates, the minimum required marks are 50%.
RBI Grade B Nationality Requirements
You should be an Indian citizen or subject of Nepal/Bhutan to be eligible for the RBI Grade B 2025 officer exam.
RBI Grade B Attempt Limit 2025
If you are from the General or EWS category, you can take the RBI Grade B Phase 1 exam only up to 6 times. But if you belong to the SC, ST, OBC, or PwBD category, there is no limit on the number of times you can appear for the exam.

After successfully clearing the RBI Grade B Phase 2, you will receive an email at your registered email address containing a link to complete your psychometric test.

- The psychometric test is online. You can complete it from the comfort of your home.

- You can take the test in English or any of the 9 other Indian languages you’re proficient in.
